In the campaign, he highlighted the need for government intervention and support for both manufacturers and retailers alike, encouraging them to reopen stores to keep the supply chain afloat. Through the book, Uddin conveys the strength of the Bangladesh apparel industry, the improvements it made and the challenges.

Author Bio:

Mostafiz Uddin is a visionary entrepreneur who owns  a and niche, environmentally sustainable and socially responsible compliant denim manufacturing plant in Bangladesh.

He is recognized as a game changer and has been selflessly contributing to bring expected changes in global fashion industry. He is Founder of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), Bangladesh Denim Expo, Sustainable Apparel Forum (SAF) and Bangladesh Fashionology Summit. He attended numerous international fashion conferences and summits as speakers.

Mostafiz Uddin was named as the world’s top denim professionals by Rivet magazine in 2018 and 2021. His factory Denim Expert Ltd was awarded as the Honourable Mention by World Economic Forum for Excellence in Sustainability in 2020. Time Magazine published a special feature on him and BBC made a special documentary on his initiatives for the fashion industry.
